We are proud to have bred, here in South Africa, this awesome Xoloitzcuintle as an amazing specimen of one of the most ancient dog breeds in the world.

Although the Xoloitzcuintles were bred to be eaten by the Mexicans for over 3 500 years, the breed was only officially recognised in Mexico in 1956 by the time the breed was nearly extinct.  

These ancient dogs as a registered breed today, are experiencing a revival and people all over the world have done amazing domestication of their primitive nature.

Our very own home-bred Adencrown Sixto Rodriguez bloomed at the age of 4 when Anton started to show him personally.

We are just so thankful to see Sokkies representing the breed here on home soil and we would like to thank Judges from all over the world who have recognised his quality, intelligence and endurance.
