He took my breath away when he was born and has exceeded all expectations as he matures. Oliver is a combination of a number of incredible dogs, imported over the years, to improve and expand the bloodlines in South Africa; it has all just come together in one gorgeous package! He enjoyed a short but very successful Baby Puppy career, notching up 2 BBPIS and a RBBPIS, and then missed out on an entire Puppy career, when 2020 happened.
His re-appearance as a Junior, in November 2020, was one to remember where he won Group 1 and Junior Group 1 under Natasha Baxter and then wowed us with a Best Junior in Show AND Reserve Best in Show at the tender age of 13 months under Dr Heidi Rolfes! In spite of going through the “juniors”, complete with the typical Beardie coat change; his superb structure, fluid movement and exquisite head and expression cannot be ignored. Most important, his endearing, gentle nature, make him so easy to live with. We couldn't ask for more!
