We are over-the-moon proud and honoured that Radley finished the 2019 show year with outstanding results to represent the breed as #1 Scottish Terrier, #1Terrier and #2 All-breeds and will walk down the red carpet at the glamorous Animaltalk awards luncheon on 18 January and prestigious EDKC SUPA 7's Spectacular on 25 January 2020. Huge gratitude to all the Judges, both local and international, for recognising and consistently awarding our boy for his outstanding breed type, character and movement, making him a proud ambassador for the breed.

Four-year-old Radley is no stranger to the Animaltalk Top 100 All-breeds rating system, earning his stripes from a young age at #96 in 2016, and working his way up to #2 position in 2019 after a year of thrilling success in the ring. Radley has also been the #1 Scottish Terrier in the ratings for two years running. This would not have been possible without the incredible partnership that has formed between Radley and his rock-star handler, Tyrone Goode, over the last 12 months, resulting in him being the first Scottish Terrier in 12 years, since “Clifford” Ch. Gladwen Black Magic handled and owned by George Loock in 2007, to achieve #2 All-breeds, #1 Terrier and #1 Scottish Terrier. To quote John Paul Warren: “Cream always rises to the top” this has never been truer!

Radley was bred in the Netherlands by Betty Smit-Kamerbeek of the Lucia's Dream Kennel. I am eternally grateful to Betty for producing such a well-balanced dog of this nature and quality. Much credit goes to her for preparing him as a Puppy, introducing him to as many experiences, people, and animals as possible to prepare him for his new life and flight to South Africa. The day this young Scotsman arrived at 4 months of age and stepped out his travel cratebarking of excitement when he saw me, I instantly knew a fabulous new adventure was about to begin! Radley did not disappoint. He has exceeded our wildest expectations by far! We are thrilled that Radley loves adventure and enjoys a good challenge, showing his diversity by gaining both Bronze and Silver Canine Good Citizen awards this year.

Aside from his show successes, Radley's love and affection for the family and fellow clan members is unconditional. He truly is one in a million, fun-loving characterful, Scotsman!
