ENTRY PROCEDURE:		• All entries must be submitted on a separate, current KUSA entry form with proof of qualification provided either in the form of confirmation email issued by the KUSA Office or copy of Grand/Supreme Champion Certificate awarded by the KUSA. • Attendance at this Competition is at the sole expense of the owner/exhibitor. • All exhibitors taking part in this Competition are required to wear their exhibit number. • All exhibitors are required to dress in a manner befitting this prestigious Competition. Jeans, T-shirts, shorts and Takkies are not acceptable dress in the ring. Shoes must be worn. • It is a condition of entry that competitors may not use their dogs for the advertising of any dog food products, for a period of 12 months following the Competition, without the prior permission of any Sponsor in writing.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA :		Dogs that have been awarded KUSA (Breed) Grand Champion and/or Supreme Champions status prior to the closing date of the event will be eligible for entry in this Competition.

JUDGING PROCEDURE :		• Preliminary Judging Rounds will take place in respective Group rings, in the following order Terriers, Hounds, Utility, Toys, Herding, Working and Gundog Groups @ 7.30am – four (4) unplaced exhibits will be chosen from each Group to go forward to the Semi-Final Round • The Semi-final Judging Round will take place prior to respective Bests in Show categories in the BIS Ring - eight (8) unplaced exhibits will be chosen to proceed to the Finals • Final Judging Round will take place after respective Bests in Show categories in the BIS Ring, where 4 dogs will be placed.

A judge will judge preliminary round & semi-final round - a Judge will judge final round of 8 dogs, from which 4 will be placed

1. Faxed or emailed entries will be accepted only with proof of payment submitted at the same time. 2. Reference on deposit slip: your surname (not dog's name or other). 3. Ensure entries and deposit slip are clearly legible. 4. No postal orders, registered mail, or postal entries please. 5. Please include your e-mail address on entry form. 6. Bring fax/EFT confirmation to the show in case receipt verification is required. 7. No numbers will be posted. 8. No entries will be accepted on the day of the show. 9. Money will not be refunded for incorrect entries. 10. Incomplete or illegible entries or those unaccompanied by the correct fees will be returned to the exhibitor.
Only Members of the Kennel Union shall be entitled to enter dogs in their registered ownership in any Championship Dog Show licensed by the Kennel Union. This show will be held under the Rules and Regulations of the Kennel Union of Southern Africa. All Exhibitors/Handlers are personally responsible for the control of their dogs at all times and shall be personally liable for any claims which may be made in respect of injuries which may arise or be caused by their dogs. All Exhibits must be on leads at all times unless otherwise instructed by a Judge. Bitches in season will be permitted to compete in Breed Classes only. Due consideration must be given to competitors in Obedience, Dog Jumping, Agility and other Disciplines. The Committee reserves the right to appoint alternative judges at its discretion.
