My K-litter was born during COVID lockdown. It was one of the most beautiful litters I have bred. The dam is Ch. Agha Djari's Jazmine at Tantalika. The sire Ch. Tantalika Highland Fling “Finn”, litter brother to Gr.Ch. Tantalika Harry Dash (Western Cape Top Dog 2021). Showing was very limited when Kaylin and his litter sister, Ch. Tantalika Kate Moss “Kyrah” were in Puppy class, but he started making his mark as a Junior when the shows started opening up, and he gained a number of Best Junior in Show and Reserve Best Junior in Show awards.

He won his first Hound Group at a Open show at Breede River KC show in June 2021.

In October 2022, at the Cape Hound Club Open show, Kaylin was awarded RBISS.

I had taken a break from showing for the most part of 2022 while nursing my heart-dog, Miko, until he finally succumbed to Lymphoma. I was on the verge of calling it quits after losing Miko, but Kaylin was the light in my life at that difficult time. He has sparked my passion again with his lovely springy gait and exquisite looks.

Kaylin won his first Reserve Best in Show at Liesbeek KC Championship show and his first Best in Show at Overberg KC Championship show in March this year.

He has had numerous Group placings and a few Group wins since then.

Kaylin is reaching his prime and is being noticed in the ring. He keeps going from strength to strength and I hope to do him the full justice he deserves.
