Our homebred boy, Hudson, is a combination of imported and local lines and we could not be prouder of him! When Michele Colborne pointed to him as an 8 week old puppy after assessments saying “There's your keeper”, we could never have guessed the ride he would take us on. His first show weekend out he took 5 x Best Baby Puppy in Show at the Oudtshoorn and Malmesbury shows and now, exactly two years later ( at the tender age of two), he was awarded Best in Show with some of the country's top dogs present – it could not have been more special! He also walked away with all four two-point CC's that were up for grabs at the Outeniqua and George Kennel Clubs - we so appreciate judges we have come to respect point to our dogs. There is a little tradition in our household where each of our dogs have “a song” – Hudson's is “A million dreams” by Hugh Jackman with the lyrics so appropriately stating “Oh a million dreams for the world we're gonna make”

Lilly has been such an excellent addition to our household and kennel. She was recently awarded Best in Show at the Australian Shepherd Club of the Western Cape Show (just 7 months post-whelp) and the judge commented: “She is a beautiful girl with a “work all day”, no nonsense attitude, coupled with great movement and correct structure- she oozes Aussie – she simply blows my mind.” She has not only proven her worth in the show ring, but also in the whelping box where she blessed us with a litter of nine beautiful pups – one of which a sassy red-head who was recently awarded Best Puppy in Show at the Natal W&H show and the two-point CC from the minor puppy class at the Australian Shepherd Club show! Lilly's song is “You can't stop the girl” by Bebe Rexha – have a listen and you'll understand why.
