Dreams do come true!!

As we lead into the Eastern Districts Kennel Club Royal Canin SUPA 7's Spectacular Event, we are incredibly proud of our successes in the show ring. 2021 has been a magical year for our kennel and our special girl, Lucy! We look forward to competing at this prestigious event and wish all our competitors the best of luck.

Lucy ended the 2020/2021 KUSA Showdog of the Year competition as South Africa's Top Bitch, #1 Pembroke Welsh Corgi, #2 Herding dog, and #8 All-breeds. The Award Presentation Ceremony for the KUSA Showdog of the Year will take place at the Eastern Districts Kennel Club's prestigious SUPA 7s Spectacular Gala Event where she will be recognised as the Top Bitch. Big congratulations to all the winners, who will be joining us at the Awards Presentation.

Lucy performed extremely well in 2021 winning multiple awards. Here is a short summary of her 2021 wins:

•  Best in Show at Port Elizabeth Kennel Club under the late Mrs Patricia Guild (Herding specialist)

•  Best in Show at the Witwatersrand Corgi Club Tramordwy 2021 Show under Herding specialist Mrs Karen Furk

•  Reserve Best in Show at Goldfields Kennel Club under Herding specialist Jackie Mackenzie

•  Reserve Best in Show at Orion Kennel Club under Mrs Liz Megginson

•  Reserve Best in Show at the Quinera Working and Herding Breeds Club Show under Herding specialist Mr Jan van Rijswijk

•  Multiple Group wins and multiple Group placings.

•  2019/2020 Corgi of the Year and Victrix Ludorum at the Witwatersrand Corgi Club Tramordwy Annual Awards

Her show career has been very successful, and we are very grateful to the judges that have recognised her breed type and quality.
