9 & 10 October 2021…..the days Sansa went on to prove that the girls can stand strong and proud next to their strong male counter parts. The Working Group is no joke to compete in, with the physical strength, power and strong working attitudes things can get quite rough!

Sansa had an absolute cracker of a weekend. The weekend held the Eastern Districts and TKC Kennel Club All-breeds Shows, and a well-attend Boxer Club Gold Reef Championship Show.

Sansa knocked the absolute socks right off of us by winning Best of Breed and Working Group 1st under Judge, Karen Furk, followed by another Best of Breed and another Group 1st under Judge, Joy McFarlane!!  We were ecstatic! Back to back Group wins can really make one excited!

In the sweltering heat, we still had one more show to go….and both Sansa and I were kaput!

Esteemed Judge, Jenny Hubbard awarded Sansa 1st in the Champion Bitch class and then the very big cherry on top (or so we thought..) Best in Specialty!

Sunday arrives…..sitting there watching dogs being judged, I could not help but wonder how amazing it must be to win a Best in Show……

A few hours later, as I relaxed at home, I just couldn't believe how my life has changed…

The weekend's results:

• Eastern Districts KC: BIS Judge, Mark Anderson awards Sansa Best in Show (Group Judge, Karen Furk).
• TKC KC: BIS Judge Joy McFarlane awards Sansa Reserve Best in Show (Group Judge, Joy McFarlane).
• Boxer Club Gold Reef: BISS Judge, Jenny Hubbard awards Sansa Best in Specialty Show.

Sansa`s weekend results were ground breaking for a Boxer, and what makes this so extremely sensational is that it was a FEMALE Boxer. (Girl Power Whoop Whoop #justsaying)

We cannot thank the judges of the weekend enough, but I would really like to make a point of thanking Wolf, Dina, Antonett and Wendy for giving me what I needed to breed such a fantastic Boxer.

Most of all I would like to thank Sansa, who worked so very hard this weekend and showed her true Boxer resilience, not giving up, but giving me her very best.

You gave us our very first All-breeds Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show.
