Ending the year as the top Labrador Retriever in South Africa is what every breeder and owner dreams about. Matthys did this at the end of 2021!

Matthys's show results speak for itself, and I am extremely proud of this charismatic and intelligent boy! I am honored to own him, and to be able to breed him. His daughter, Maya Ch. Rowania Maya & Me, has made her mark early in her show career.

The highlights for Matthys were ending 2020 with a BISS at the Labrador Retriever KC's annual Championship Show under esteemed Specialist Judge, Dale Fabian, followed by a BISS for both LRKC's Open shows in 2021 under esteemed Judges, Martin Croeser and Jo-Dee Tarr. The best feeling ever was when Matthys won the Best in Show at the West Coast KC under esteemed Specialist Judge, Louis Kruger, in April 2021! We were so overjoyed and proud at the same moment - a feeling that not everyone is privileged to have.

I especially want to thank my friends and handlers, Janie Kiefer and Amy Kiefer, for all their hard work and for showing my fur kids so superbly!

A Labrador is a special dog with the best intelligence and temperament any family cauld ask for. They dedicate their entire lives to us with their unconditional love and companionship, let's give them the best of ours for the small part of our lives they share with us!
