The morning air was crisp as Tracy Robertson, a talented photographer known for her stunning portraits, set up her equipment on Melkbosstrand Beach in the Western Cape. The sun had just begun to peek over the horizon, casting a soft golden glow over the sandy shores. Tracy was there for a special photo shoot with Knox, a magnificent Siberian Husky who has captured the hearts of many with his grace and beauty.

Knox, whose registered name is Supreme Champion Hightower's Knoxville Cowboy with SpiritKeeper JM CGC(Br), was not just any dog. He is currently the no. 3 dog in South Africa, according to the KUSA point system for 2023/2024, and has won multiple Best in Show titles with his handler, Duane Riley.

As Knox and Duane arrived at the beach, Tracy was struck by Knox's striking appearance. Knox had a thick coat of grey and white fur, with one blue eye and one brown eye, which gave him a unique and captivating look. Duane, a seasoned handler, led Knox to the spot Tracy had chosen for the shoot.

Tracy began to work her magic, capturing Knox's essence in each frame. She caught him running along the water's edge, his fur glistening in the early morning light. She captured the moment when Knox turned his head, his eyes full of intelligence and curiosity. Tracy knew she was witnessing something special - a bond between human and animal that was truly remarkable.

As the sun rose higher in the sky, Tracy and Duane moved to different locations on the beach, each one more stunning than the last. Knox seemed to know he was the star of the show, posing effortlessly for Tracy's camera. His playful nature and striking appearance made him a joy to photograph.

As Tracy packed up her equipment, she knew that the photos she had taken that morning would be cherished by Knox's fans for years to come. She had captured the essence of a champion, both in the ring and in his heart.

We are excited to be competing at the 2024 KUSA Nationals in KZN.
