Knox is no ordinary dog. He's a multi Best in Show and Best in Specialty Show winner, and currently ranks as the #2 dog (All-breeds) in the KUSA Showdogs ratings for 2024/2025. Knox is a Siberian Husky that embodies dual excellence - he's both a graceful show dog and an unstoppable force in harness.

 As the sun begins to rise over the winter landscape of Gauteng, Knox transforms from a poised show dog into a machine of power and endurance. The early mornings are cold, the air crisp and biting, but this is Knox's time. Duane harnesses him up, attaching him to the cart, and Knox's muscles tense with anticipation. This is where he truly thrives - leading Duane's dry-land sledding team through the rugged trails.

The other dogs in the team look to Knox, trusting him to guide them through the rough terrain. At Duane's signal, they surge forward, Knox at the lead. The wheels of the cart bounce over the dirt and rocks, but Knox never falters. His focus is unbreakable, his drive unstoppable. Every breath he takes is in rhythm with the pounding of his paws, his body moving with the precision and strength of a finely tuned machine.

The winter landscape blurs around them as they race through the trails. Knox pushes harder, feeling the exhilarating rush of speed and the satisfaction of the team moving as one. He is fit for function, a true testament to the Siberian Husky breed. Whether in the show ring or in harness, Knox is in his element, excelling in both worlds with a grace and power that few can match.
